We developed a concept design for a simple house elevated from the woodland Floor. The site located in desirable Canford Cliffs is highly constrained by a large Western Cedar. The scheme sits above the ground using an elevated concrete slab. The house is conceived as a barn-like building, clad in timber and open at each end. The glazed gables provide light and throughout the house and create a striking appearance for the scheme.
